Founded in 1930, CBMC has grown into a global movement reaching business leaders in over 90 countries, empowering them to integrate their faith with their professional lives and make an eternal impact in the marketplace.

OUR HISTORY
1930 - The Beginning
CBMC was founded in Chicago by a group of Christian businessmen who recognized the need for fellowship and evangelism among their peers. They committed to reaching business leaders with the Gospel and discipling them in their faith.
1950s-1970s - Global Expansion
CBMC expanded internationally, establishing ministries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe. The movement grew as business leaders around the world embraced the vision of marketplace ministry.
1980s-2000s - Resources & Training
Development of key discipleship resources including Operation Timothy, Monday Manna devotionals, and leadership training programs that equipped thousands of business leaders worldwide.
2010s-Today - Digital Age Ministry
Embracing technology and digital platforms to reach a new generation of business leaders, while maintaining the relational, life-on-life discipleship model that has always been at the heart of CBMC.
